Include conveyances, 1754-1778, of land in Goochland County, Va.; mortgage, 1769-1784, of 350 acres land in Goochland County by Thomas Cocke to Douglas. Also include deeds, 1771-1776, for land in Louisa County, Va.; and a premarital agreement, 1782, between Douglas and Elizabeth Burruss (Douglas), granting land and slaves to Burruss at the time of Douglas' death, and renouncing her claim to the remainder of his estate.
